We are already half way through the fall semester and looking at the beginning of another season square in the eyes! It is an exciting time for the team, learning and polishing their new skills, challenging each other to see who is going to make the team on what events, and all the while building a strong team that will help see this program through another challenging year. No, it doesn’t seem to get any easier, but each year brings with it a new dynamic and group of individuals ready to meet the challenges and willing to do what it takes to get the “job” done.

We had a great summer of training with a large group of guys and it is paying off. With our goal of getting our skill level higher than last year and being more prepared for the season, the next 6 weeks will be an exciting time as we start putting all our routines together and see how they work. There will be lots of vying for spots with only 6 gymnasts allowed to compete on each event (we have 14 capable gymnasts on Floor alone!).
So on we head into our 17th year as a non-funded team at ASU. But the Tradition Continues because that’s…our “Job”.
